Welcome to BibleQuiz. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the BibleQuiz app, website, question packs, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service Description
BibleQuiz provides Bible-study quizzes, practice modes, timed challenges, question-pack discovery, offline learning, learning records, feedback tools, and related features. Some features described on the website are planned features and may not yet be available. We may add, change, limit, or remove features as the service develops.
2. Acceptance and Responsible Use
You may use BibleQuiz only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms of Use. If you use the service on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for them. BibleQuiz is a general educational and informational service, not professional, legal, medical, or religious advice.
3. Accounts, Security, and Guest Mode
Keep account information accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share, rent, sell, or use an account to access the service on behalf of another person without authorization.
Guest mode may be used without an account, but guest quiz activity and some offline data are stored only on the current device. Guest data is not automatically merged with an account later and may be lost after uninstalling the app, clearing data, or changing devices.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use BibleQuiz to:
- Break the law, violate another person's rights, or submit unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful, deceptive, or defamatory material.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with BibleQuiz.
- Access another account, bypass security, probe or disrupt our systems, or interfere with another user's use of the service.
- Scrape, copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or question-pack content without authorization.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Upload malware, spam, unauthorized advertising, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
- Use automated methods in a way that places unreasonable load on the service or defeats usage limits and security controls.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
BibleQuiz software, branding, interface design, original question content, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to BibleQuiz and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Bible text, translations, and other third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders and may be subject to separate terms.
We do not claim ownership of feedback you choose to send us. You grant us permission to use that feedback to operate, support, analyze, and improve BibleQuiz without identifying you publicly as the source unless you agree otherwise.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
BibleQuiz may rely on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party websites or services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices, and a link does not mean that BibleQuiz endorses the linked service.
7. Availability, Updates, and Security
We work to keep BibleQuiz useful and available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Maintenance, network failures, device limitations, third-party outages, and other events may affect availability. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, current software, and appropriate backups of information stored only on your device.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or the public, to investigate suspected abuse, to comply with law, or when you materially violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BibleQuiz is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of every question, explanation, reference, or learning result. Your use of the service, downloads, and reliance on content are at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BibleQuiz and its operators, contributors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as the service, law, or security requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page and update the date above. Your continued use of BibleQuiz after an update means that you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
11. Governing Law and Contact
