Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BibleQuiz collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the BibleQuiz app, website, question packs, and related services.
1. Scope and Your Choices
This policy applies to the BibleQuiz mobile app, the BibleQuiz website, and services that link to this policy. You can use some features as a guest. You can choose whether to create an account, submit feedback, or provide optional profile information, but some account-based features require the information needed to operate them.
2. Information We Collect
Account and authentication information. When you register or sign in, we may process your email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, account status, and information you choose to add to your profile. Authentication credentials are handled through our authentication infrastructure.
Quiz and learning information. We may store answers, scores, completed quizzes, learning progress, question-pack selections, difficulty preferences, language preferences, and other settings needed to provide synchronized features.
Guest and offline information. Guest quiz activity and some downloaded or offline question-pack data may remain only on your current device. This information is not automatically uploaded, merged, or recovered when you later register, sign in, uninstall the app, clear app data, or change devices.
Feedback and support information. If you contact us or submit feedback, we receive the message, screenshots or other attachments you choose to send, and the contact information needed to respond.
Device and diagnostic information. To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, we may process basic device, app-version, operating-system, connectivity, performance, and diagnostic information. We do not use quiz answers to build advertising profiles.
3. How We Use Information
- To create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts.
- To provide quizzes, question packs, progress tracking, settings, and synchronization.
- To save and restore signed-in learning data across supported devices.
- To respond to feedback, support requests, and account-related questions.
- To detect abuse, protect the service, investigate technical problems, and prevent fraud.
- To understand aggregate product usage and improve the app, question quality, and website.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Storage and Service Providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, and storage infrastructure for some BibleQuiz services. Firebase Analytics may provide aggregate usage and performance information when enabled in a production build. Our website may use hosting, delivery, security, and email providers to operate the public site and respond to requests.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party behavioral advertising.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may disclose information when you ask us to do so, when a service provider needs it to perform work for BibleQuiz, when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the security and integrity of the service. We may also transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
6. Website Storage and Similar Technologies
The website may use browser storage to remember preferences such as the selected website language. The app may store settings and guest or offline learning data locally on your device. You can clear browser or app storage through the relevant device or browser settings, although doing so may remove preferences or locally stored learning data.
The public BibleQuiz website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate visit and performance statistics. It is designed not to use cookies or browser local storage for this analytics measurement.
7. Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, comply with law, or fulfill the purposes described in this policy, after which we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.
8. Your Rights and Account Deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. You can start account deletion through the in-app account deletion flow. You may also contact support@mybiblequiz.app. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legitimate records.
9. Children and Sensitive Information
BibleQuiz is a general educational Bible-study service. We do not knowingly request sensitive religious, health, or identity information as a condition of using the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable digital-consent age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@mybiblequiz.app so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. International Processing and Updates
Depending on the service provider and your location, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. We will update this page when our practices or legal obligations materially change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
